El viento del Norte

El viento del Norte  sopla

y tendremos nieve

¿y entonces qué hará el pobre el petirrojo?

él saltará hacia el granero

y se mantendrá calientito

esconderá su cabeza bajo su ala

pobrecito

cuando la neblina vaya hacia la colina

cuando la neblina vaya hacia la colina

entonces llega la lluvia hacia el molino.

The North Wind

The North Wind doth blow,

And we shall have snow,

And what will poor Robin do then?

He will hop to a barn,

And to keep himself warm

Will hide his head under his wing,

Poor thing.

When the fog goes up the hill

When the fog goes up the hill

Then the rain comes down by the mill.

Muñequito de nieve

Hice un muñequito de nieve
tenía una zanahoria por nariz
por ahí vino el conejito
¿y qué crees?
ese conejito hambriento
estaba buscando que comer
y se comió la nariz del muñequito de nieve
¡mordisqueo!
¡mordisqueo!
¡masticar!

El muñeco de jengibre

Soy un muñeco de jengibre
puedo saltar
y dar vueltas
mis ojos son dos pasas
tengo botones rojos y brillantes.

Tengo una boca que sonríe
y da besos volados
soy caliente y delicioso
pero no me comas
¡cuélgame en tu árbol de Navidad!

Gingerbread Man

I'm a little gingerbread man
I can jump
I can twirl
I have raisins
For my eyes
And bright red buttons
Just this size

I have a mouth
It looks like this
I can even Blow a kiss
I'm warm and tasty
But don't eat me
Hang me on Your Christmas tree!
